Global Nest was founded in 2019 and has been under development It was then opened in collaboration with the Nordic part in 2020, by former intended parents from Norway who themselves have had children through a surrogacy process. The vision was to help involuntarily childless people in the Nordic countries with the help of surrogacy and egg donation.
Over the years, we have made great efforts to change public opinion about surrogacy as a family-forming method, among other things, through conversations with politicians, debate articles, and public visibility.
Since 2023, we have established ourselves in Austria and Thailand, and our expansion continues.

The founders of Global Nest had once been intended parents themselves in Tbilisi, Georgia. They encountered significant challenges navigating the surrogacy process due to cultural differences, lack of emotional support, and untimely updates.
